Perusing through sample sales and clearance sales, one can easily pick up high quality designer goods for pennies on the dollar. The temptations are high but living in New York City where living spaces can easily fetch for upwards of $1,000 psf, it’s critical to know when to say no. Know your limits – both for your wallet and your closet. If it’s not going to fit in your closet – don’t get it. If you’re not going to wear it within the next 30 days – don’t get it. Remember, it’s much easier to hoard stacks of money than stacks and stacks of clothes and boxes and boxes of shoes. I saw this promotional email from Spirit Airlines in my inbox today and I did a double take. Every media outlet from TMZ and the Huffington Post to CNN and the New York Times is covering Tiger Wood’s car accident last Friday which then unraveled a bigger story that he has been involved in multiple extra-marital affairs. Cheating celebrities are great for headlines and the bottom line for these news organizations but I didn’t know they were beneficial to the airlines also. I found it interesting that Spirit Airlines is now also riding on this Tiger scandal.
